Once upon a time, MAGFest was owned and ran by the guy who would become chiptune legend Inverse Phase. We talk about what MAGFest was like back in the day, how the festival inspired Inverse Phase to publish music seriously, meeting Trent Reznor, the bassy farts of the Sega Genesis soundchip, de-making Pretty Hate Machine and Guilty Gear in 8-bit, and much more.
